Before breaking free from anything or anyone in your life, it helps to know what your preferences are in terms of what you’d rather be working toward.
More often than not, people don’t really know what they want - they only know that they feel trapped or unenlivened.
And most such people are too brainwashed, comfortable, distracted, or discouraged to change a single thing about their lives while they have the time and energy to take that empowered leap - failing to realize that we create our own reality through what we think.
Have you ever felt stuck, like no matter what you do, you’re just spinning your wheels?
Maybe you’re not even sure what you really want in life, or worse, you’ve convinced yourself that wanting something more is pointless.
This isn’t your fault. Society conditions us to stay in "slave mode"—working tirelessly without questioning if this is the life we truly desire.
We’re taught to ignore the discomfort of not knowing and to settle for what’s familiar, even if it doesn’t fulfil us.
My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style… -Maya Angelou
Imagine standing in the middle of a dense, foggy forest.
Somewhere beyond the fog lies a beautiful meadow—a place where you feel fulfilled, free, and at peace.
The meadow represents the life you truly want: freedom from the grind, wealth, a meaningful purpose, and a sense of control over your time.
But the fog is so thick that you can’t even see a few feet ahead.
This fog represents your limiting beliefs—the ideas and fears that have been drilled into you, telling you to stay where you are, to not bother trying, or that success is for "other people."
Most people don’t even attempt to walk through the forest.
They either don’t believe the meadow exists or they think the fog is too overwhelming to navigate.
So they stay stagnant, convincing themselves that the safe, familiar part of the forest is "good enough."
But deep down, they feel the ache of wanting something more.
The only way to reach the meadow is to accept reality as it is… The fog is there.
The path isn’t immediately clear.
But you can’t wait for someone to hand you a map or for the fog to magically disappear.
You have to start moving forward, facing what’s in front of you one challenge at a time.
When you stay where you are, you’re not avoiding discomfort—you’re just trading one kind of discomfort for another.
The discomfort of never knowing what’s possible, of feeling stuck, or of living a life that doesn’t excite you.
But moving forward through the fog, even if it’s hard, brings clarity.
Each step you take reveals a little more of the path ahead.
You start to see what’s possible, and you realize the meadow isn’t just a fantasy—it’s real, and it’s within reach.
Know that transformation sometimes begins with a fall. So never curse the fall. -Yasmin Mogahed
If you’re ready to stop letting the fog hold you back, here’s how you can start moving toward clarity:
Take time to figure out what you truly want.
What does freedom mean to you?
How would you spend your time if money and fear weren’t holding you back?
Get specific about what your ideal life looks like.
What limiting beliefs are clouding your vision?
Maybe you think you’re not smart enough, or that entrepreneurship is too risky, or that you’re "too old" to make a change.
Write these down and recognize them for what they are—just thoughts, not facts.
You don’t need to have the entire path figured out.
Start with one small action that brings you closer to your goal.
It could be reading a book on financial freedom, taking a course, or saving a small amount of money to invest in yourself.
Each step will clear a little more of the fog.
The path won’t be easy.
You’ll encounter discomfort, doubts, and setbacks.
But instead of avoiding them, face them head-on.
Each challenge you overcome will make you stronger and more confident.
Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are… -Bernice Johnson Reagon
The life you desire is on the other side of the fog.
But you’ll never reach it if you stay stuck, waiting for clarity to come to you.
You have to create clarity by moving forward, even when the path isn’t clear.
Remember, the fog isn’t permanent.
Each step you take clears it a little more, and as you keep going, you’ll start to see the meadow—your ideal life—become more and more real.
So stop waiting.
Define your meadow, face the fog, and start walking.
Freedom, wealth, and fulfillment are closer than you think—you just have to be willing to take the first step to gain clarity on what you truly want.
Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start. -Nido Qubein
Albert Einstein is credited for saying, “Creativity is intelligence having fun.”, and by virtue of being human, you have the creative intelligence to manifest a reality through your way of thinking.
When something or someone else does your thinking for you, you’re not using your own creativity to create the life you desire.
However, when you allow the creativity within you the freedom to play, you tap into your higher self which in turn, can help provide clarity on what you truly want for your life.
Most people have become really good at being told who they are, what they want, and what they should do…
Now it’s time to, instead, get clear on who you truly are, why you’re really here, and how to bring your ideal world into your present reality.
The only way to get to this clarity required for creating the world you truly want is to go inward, and allow your inner self to show you the way.
And the easiest way to do this is through meditation to align your heart, mind, and spirit to show you your deepest desires.
When it is dark enough, you can see the stars. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Has your Mind ever wondered…
Everything is possible… if you believe it is, and whatever you believe is involved in that ‘everything..
Pertaining to how we relate to pretty much any situation we might hope to be breaking free of, ‘FOG’ can be interpreted as Fear, Obligation, and Guilt.
Consider where in your life you’re experiencing these emotions and take a moment to dream of the world you desire where the FOG is not present.
Then, consider what kind of person would be saying ‘NO’ to specific things in order to embody the kind of individual that does not live in the reality where fear, obligation, and guilt govern their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
And make a conscious choice to start living that version of you.
Look, if you’re content with things the way they are, and if how things are isn’t so bad and you’d like to stay there, nobody will stop you.
But if you’re like most people who desire to be free from the conditioned, fixed, and pre-determined life the majority of humans are expected to live, then breaking free from the limitations holding you in the box someone else designed for you is part of your life’s mission.
Besides, you can’t have anything other than what you currently have unless you choose it for yourself.
So gain clarity on what it is that YOU, as a person and infinite energy, truly want to make of the days you have on Earth.
Yes, it will take some introspection, investigation, and experimentation, but the journey will be well worth the time you spend getting to know who and what you really are and want.
Therefore, define your meadow, design it even, when you enter a quiet moment to reevaluate your present situation… and see for yourself what unlimited potential there is for creating the life, wealth, and fulfillment you’re after.
Then make a point of realistically determining who and what may be blocking you from the life you want, and make the choice to start taking steps to create the life you desire and deserve.
Know that when you start learning something new or doing something different, your conditioned mind will challenge you, and this is when you can rise to the challenge and take a step toward creating your own destiny by taking responsibility for your life.
And keep doing this, because in the end, your will is stronger than the conditioning that you’ve been exposed to for the most part of your life - so live it.
Remember, you’ll keep getting better and better at the things you practice regularly.
Where do you think your limiting beliefs come from?
Not just from your childhood - despite most people in your life only ever having had the best of intentions for you - but also from the things you continue to allow into your mind, head, and heart…
The things you choose, whether consciously or unconsciously, to fill your moments with, whether they are distractions, productivity, or silence.
These are the things you expand on, because you give them room in your life, in your mind, in your consciousness and they have flexibility - if not priority - with your time.
Now, if you’re a certain kind of person, and you feel that being that way doesn’t bring out the best in you - or that breaking free from that version of yourself would serve you better - then look at these examples to see what might work for you:
Practicing Mindfulness can help you be more present in the now-moment if you habitually ruminate, live in the past, or are an overthinker who obsesses over issues and over-analyzes details that lead to mind-fog and mental exhaustion.
Using your imagination to Visualize the supportive and loving life you’d like to have (create) can help reduce the instances of anxiety you experience if you’re someone who catastrophizes, or who lives in a world where the chronic perceived threat of worst-case scenario clutters your clarity.
Rather than resisting change and staying in a fixed kind of mindset, which in and of itself is choosing to sustain limitation, choose to be Open to Change by embracing the opportunities for growth and expansion if you’re aiming at breaking free from a rut you might be stuck in.
Because the more you are open to learning something new, the closer you get to achieving the potential waiting for you.
In a nutshell, resourcefulness, reliability, and resilience are the keys of self-reliance and self-efficacy, but what does that have to do with breaking free from anything?
Well, if you feel a need to break free from something, that means there is a limitation holding you back from the ‘more’ you desire - and the only person responsible for getting you what you want is you...
These three keys can help you navigate the fog to achieve your goal of breaking free as they are essential in gaining clarity for your journey.
Nobody will hand you a roadmap or give you a magic pill that will automatically materialize the world you (might not yet even know) you want - therefore walking the road to freedom is essential and to travel this path and find the clarity you need, you require all three keys.
In the same way that taking responsibility for your life is a decision you have to make, happiness is a choice that nobody else can make for you, or force you to make - you either want it or you don’t.

Enne selle artikli ilmumist käis minu peas läbi just sarnane tunne, nägemus.. Keegi oleks nagu minu mõtteid lugenud. Hämmastav! Olengi hetkel justkui astumas läbi uduse metsa ...Iga päevaga läheb see soov üha selgemaks...ja ma teen selle ära. Nüüd olen juba päris kindel! Võtan vastu selle väljakutse, mille poole olen tõesti liikunud samm-sammu haaval. Mul pole midagi koatada, ainult võita. Tänan!
